<p>Many of my friends tell me that my essays sound like excerpts from a novel, or like a short story. Well, is that a good, or a bad thing?</p>
<p>It’s probably a good thing, as long as it lets your personality come through.</p>
<p>It would be a really good thing for one of the Upenn essays, where you have to write page 217 of a 300 page biography- or something like that.</p>
<p>Too bad I have no interest in UPenn–I have no idea why. Although many of my friends are in love with that school, it just does not have that “click” I have with Stanford.</p>
