ethics question--is this wrong?

ok here’s my problem. i was homeschooled the 1st semester of 10th grade–but it didn’t work out, so i went back to high school 2nd semester. i actually only finished one course w/ the homeschooling program, and took all the rest of my cores when i went back. so there was no problem there. however, i’ve found out that my gc has that course listed on my transcript as taken at my high school–basically, there’s no record of the homeschooling. i didnt’ think much about it, but now i’m starting to feel a bit funny about it. (i haven’t put anything about that class or the homeschooling on any of my apps, and i’ve sent some in already.) do you think this is wrong, would colleges care if they found out–or am i just stressing over something that’s not a big deal?

IMHO you are stressing about nothing to big. You may just muddy the waters by getting into who/what/where/when discussions. It is one course out of all your courses and I say don’t worry.

It sounds as tho your school system in some way agreed to accept that 1 class and allowed you high school credit for it - this is not that unusual - and won’t be a problem for you.

We had our son privately tutored for a class for 2 years that our high school did not offer - and it was applied to the transcript as tho it was taken at the high school.

It will be looked as tho it is part of the high school curriculum - so no problem at all.

ok thanks–i never thought of it that way, jeepmom. i guess i’m being a little too scrupulous…
