What does “other” refer to on applications?

It’s not caucasian, african, asian, etc…what could it possibly refer to?
Does it mean a mixture or races? Because I am 2 races so I always check other.

They’re just begging for you to check “other” and specify “human” lol

I think it’s more a method of protecting themselves from some bizarre lawsuit because they didn’t include some unheard of race.

i think its for if you’re mixed

^ Okay, that’s good then because I’m mixed so I put both.

Some unheard of race…hahha.

i’m not sure…but if u r like from a tribe or such which actually defines u ethnically u may put others…but being mixed …u can put other.

It’s for if you’re a Martian.

Would putting “Hispanic” benefit you any more than putting “mixed race”? (I’m Hispanic and white.)

Hahaha “Martian”

I was thinking about that too

putting “Hispanic” won’t “benefit” you much, either way. :/

I always wondered about that!

What would Michael Jackson put?

Pedophile.

^^^
:p

no, MJ and I are both racially neutral.

lol racially neutral lol

Or like, if you invent your own race.

Native American.
