ETS reported me. Am i in trouble?

Me and my fiance were to appear for our gre test on 10th march. i reached there half hour earlier, however, he got stuck in crazy traffic. i called him before the test and he seemed quite worried and was trying to get out of the traffic. However, since there was no time left, i went inside. but i couldnt start the test coz i was crazy worried. According to our university deadline, that was the last day we could appear for our gre. I asked the proctor, if he (my fiance) is in, and im really worried and i cant start the test like that or ill screw up real bad. He informed me twice that my fiance hasnt showed up. so i was dead dead dead worried and sick. but i proctor told me that i should start my test.

During the 10 min break i asked the proctor if i could go to the locker room and he told me that that yes i could go. i had no idea that i wont be allowed to use my cell phone. also i was so worried for my fiance that i rushed to the locker room to call him to ask if he is okay and what happened. When i returned the proctor asked if i used my phone and i told him that i wasnt aware of the fact that we cant use our phones and thats the reason i asked him if i could go to the locker room.

Now the ETS has sent me and email saying that they are considering cancelling my scores. I need these scores or ill miss my admission. And my wedding date is dependent on the admission. helppp please. what do i do? am i in trouble?? what do i do??

@troubledtroubledsoul GRE policy ([here](https://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/test_day/)) clearly states that you are not allowed to use your phone during breaks, so you technically violated the rule.

Because the GRE is an individual test, the best thing you should have done was to listen to the proctor and take the test, since your fiance’s arrival on time is completely out of your control. There is a reason why you (and he!) should arrive half an hour early - which means, plan for bad traffic.
