<p>evans scholars are not nominated, etc., nor is it by academic or extracurricular excellence. evans scholars are students who were golf caddies during their summers in high school at specific golf clubs, mostly in illinois, who receive full scholarships upon their admission to NU. I am not an evans scholar myself, but I know a lot of them. They live in a house together in the sorority quad, and may not join a fraternity or sorority. They do a lot of activity sort things together on and off campus. Some of the few people who receive full scholarships to NU not based on financial need :/</p>
