Evans School Undergrad Major

DS26 applied (OOS) to Public Service and Policy in the Evans School. He was accepted to Udub, but his acceptance says his major is “Pre Major (Arts & Sciences)”. So it seems he was not accepted to the major he applied for, and is not in the Evans School. I know that this is a very new undergraduate major, but does anyone know how this works? What are the chances of getting accepted, and what happens if he doesn’t get into his desired major?

I suggest you sign up for the info session on Wednesday so you can ask. Link below

But because they say this, I’m guessing it’s not a direct admit major.

Prior to declaring the Public Service and Policy major, we suggest exploring any of the following first- and second-year courses: Composition or writing, economics, leadership, political science, public policy, regional studies, sociology, statistics, and courses that cover the areas of inquiry.
