Pomona (edit : Claremont Colleges :)

USC (going for accelerated medical program)

Rochester (going for accelerated medical program)

Case Western Reserve (going for accelerated medical program)

UCLA, UC Berkely, UCSD

Thanks for your time

My estimates on a few of those:

Pomona-Slight Reach
Northwestern-Slight Reach
UC Berkely--Slight Reach

By the way, It should be spelled as "Claremont"
It's my town.
And I believe you have a good chance at Pomona college. It's a nice place, and amazing students and faculty members too. You can take classes at Harvey Mudd, CMC, etc. Yeah I think it's not a slight reach, but a match for you, given your stats.

alright thanks, and btw, does anyone know how much national merit helps at all? any more feedback would be great also. =)

National Merit is like a dipping sauce with an already stellar resume, which it looks as if you already have. One great thing about the PSAT is that it is scaled to your peers, instead of being pre-determined, all of the scores come out in comparison to all the kids who are applying to college with you, so it may be more distinguishable than regular SAT scores and is DEFINITELY more distinguishable than GPA in considering you for admissions. And the scholarships ain't half bad, either.

mmm...national merit dipping sauce...

Yeah, that national merit status will get you into all of your schools but Stanford for sure.

Stanford is definitely a good match, but I can't say 100% sure

Stanford: Reach
Pomona: Match
Northwestern: Slight Reach
USC: Match
Rochester: Safety
Case Western Reserve: Safe Match
UCLA: Match
UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match
