or put water in the cup o noodles and microwave for like 3.5 minutes-5 minutes

Amen! (I find that 3 minutes is enough–my brother goes even shorter because he likes his cup noodles a little sturdier.)

I’ll say this though-- Ramen noodles do taste a little better.

Uh, I’ve always just boiled water in the microwave and then, y’know, put the noodles in it. Is this wrong?!

kimchi bowls ftw. http://www.kgrocer.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=21

i hate the sodium levels in these things, they make my blood pressure go up

Just eat the noodles, dont drink the soup.

Take a look at the nutritional content of it - it’s really not good for you on a regular basis.

how about getting a rice cooker? you can cook your noodles, heat up some soup or make yellow rice with vegetables

oh ramen. ramen is gross.

cup o noodles are usually in that foam cup that says “don’t put in microwaves” especially because they release poisonous fumes(?) after they get heated or whatever…

American ramen isn’t real ramen… if you like spicy things try asian ramen noodles… (we tend to put alot of extras in there too) we think american people are crazy for draining all the water/soup out too. XP (<- that’s where the good part kicks in after you are done with the noodles… get some rice)

hot 'n spicy ramen is actually pretty spicy

I make it in the microwave, fill it with water and microwave for 2 min.

^Yeah, I literally just finished a bowl of it. Really really good. I finished off the soup at the end–screw high sodium warnings. I love the feeling when you exhale and feel the spiciness.

Ramen is good…
until you eat it for a month, after which a little bit of bile comes up every time you smell its scent.

I prefer to boil mine, since I can throw in frozen vegetables and other stuff to make it more filling and nutritious.

To those of you who are worried about the sodium, there is a simple solution: don’t use the flavor packets or drink the broth. Personally, I prefer to use the packet and let the flavor sink in for a few minutes before straining out the broth, but to each his/her own.
