Everest Properties Scandal?

<p>Has anyone ever lived in an Everest Properties apartment? Specifically 1717 Oxford Street. I already signed a lease but I just googled them accidentally and found all this scary crap about the owner being a child sex trafficker and he and his sons went to jail. I also just Yelped this place and heard the worst horror stories. </p>

<p>All the ratings 1 or 2 stars except for one rating which was 5 stars and that thankfully happens to be the 1717 Oxford Street place since the managers name was the same.</p>

<p>Da*n, I really should have done my research before signing the lease…</p>

<p>It’s good that landlords only have minimal involvement in your living arrangements.</p>

<p>They aren’t out there to intentionally make your life miserable.</p>
