It’s a pain in the arse if you’re British and you want to spell correctly in America. I’d rather learn another language.

we’re pathetic.

Just do the british spellings. I like them more.

yeah, I prefer them too.

I don’t prefer them. It’s what makes us American…you traitors!

I shall then.

“It’s what makes us American.”

No: Hummers, McDonalds, Texas, Walmart, and G-DUBYA make you American.

lol, it’s still funny to use them though. people just think you can’t spell.

that’s because it is [incorrect]. colour? um no, it’s color.

but some are really common here anyway.
like theatre instead of theater.

I find myself writing colour, favourite, centre, etc.

i bet you say “z” zed instead of zee…dont ya?

traitor

I applied to centre college. and it’s american!

Yes, I do. Proud of it. I can’t be a traitor, as I am not American.

Also, what do you learn in high school? I’m quite sure it’s English: not American.

This is not my favorite thread.

have you ever sat and clicked repeatedly on the submit reply button when it’s telling you about the 60 second rule? if you keep clicking it’s really funny because the timer is all screwy. it will go from 25 to 30 to 10 to 50… it’s so annoying.

Yeah, that happens to me all the time.

it’s not my favourite either!
lol

It’s just a way to kill time

all good americans would admit this is their favorite thread

therefore, you are all traitors

traitors! be gone!

no! you’re the traitor! your favorite thread uses non-american spelling! so that means you are a bad american!
