Exam Help

Hey everybody,
I know you all are going to laugh at this AP Score, but I got a 2 on one of my AP exams. But I received a final grade of 92 in the class. How bad will the 2 look when I’m applying to UPENN or any other IVY League? Would it be better to just take the Subject test, score a 700+ on that same subject and not send the AP score in?
Please answer! Thank you.

I think it might indicate that your class was easy but it’s ok. I wouldn’t worry. When I applied I had 3 two’s and I sent all my scores in. Granted you do not want to get any more twos but when it comes to applying, it’s not all about the scores.

Here’s what Dean Furda had to say about ap scores:
You have not lost your chances for admission based on the results of your A.P. test results. If one of the tests is in an area critical to your success in a specific academic program, you may want to ask your teacher in that subject to write a letter of recommendation.

Take the subject test, get a 700+, and you can send the AP score if you want (it really shouldn’t hurt or help you).
