Examples of average E.C.s of people who are admitted?

I was just wondering what the E.C.s of an average person (medical/non-medical related) who is admitted to medical school are. I understand it is subjective as to what “average” is, but I’m not asking for a precise amount but rather an estimation.

Obviously I plan on doing all I can and wish to be above average, but I’m asking this mainly out of curiosity.

40-100 hrs shadowing
200-500+ hrs clinical
150-300 hrs volunteer
6-12 mos research
several interesting (unique) interests & hobbies
consistency in ECs and “theme” of application
3.65 cGPA/3.60 sGPA (BCMP)
31-32 MCAT
outstanding LORs (specific, show knowledge of who you are, etc.)
fit w/ mission
good to excellent interview skills
professionalism
amicable

That should get you started on your checklist… lol.

Oh yeah…and NOT a cookie-cutter applicant. Which means all of that stuff above doesn’t matter. (They’re just some possible guidelines.)

Hah, well it looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Thanks for the response, it should provide some good guidance.
