Exams for Large Classes

So, I saw that exams for large classes like Orgo and Calculus take place from 6-8 PM. Does that mean everyone from all sections of Orgo/Calc take the exact same exam?

If everyone takes the the same exam, is it okay if you go to lectures with a “better” prof than the one you signed up for? I don’t think they’d keep track of 300 students…

Yes. I asked this (and probably a number of follow up questions you may have) in this thread.

I find showing up for the extremely large LSA classes with 2 exams a semester completely useless… better off just self-study everything…Saves you a lot of time and probably get you a much better grade

Also note that exams for large classes are not always 6-8. They maybe 8-10 or 7-9 or even 1.5 hours (6-7:30 or 6:15-7:45).

Note also that calc I and II are not taught by profs, but by gsi’s…so it’s sort of like a high school math class, and you need to consistently attend the section you are in (because of quizzes, hw, etc).
