Excessive Transfers?

My first semester of college I attended SUNY Oneonta and has a 3.5 GPA, however I decided to go home and go to Suffolk County Community College due my father’s recent health and the fact that he will never be able to work again. I quickly discovered that SCCC has no finance courses, and that is the major I want, so I will be transferring as soon as possible. I displayed some interest in Dowling College, because it is local and they have a finance program, but they only offered me $8,000 per year in financial aid, but they told me if I wait another semester I will be eligible a transfer scholarship of $10,000 in addition to the $8,000 they already offered me, bringing the price down to a reasonable cost. However, I eventually want to go to a top tier school for finance due to my Wall Street aspirations. Will transferring from SUNY Oneonta, to SCCC, then Dowling College make it more difficult to get into a top tier program at a later point in time. Im trying to keep the debt load below $60,000.

I think all those instances of transferring would look unfavorable to those Wall Street firms you want to join?

I’m not sure your question would be best answered in this thread. Suffolk County Community College is in New York right? Most of the people on this thread go to California Community Colleges. Maybe you should ask this question in the Transfer Students thread.

Im sorry I clicked the wrong thing. I thought I was in the transfer forum.
