<p>Just say you can’t drink. Most people won’t ask why. Tell them for health reasons and just say it’s personal. Or say you don’t like drinking, you get bad hangovers, it conflicts with medications, you don’t like the taste, if it’s beer, you can say you’re allergic to gluten. You don’t need an excuse. I have two friends who don’t drink and noone asks them why. I’ve gone to parties and not drank. It wasn’t a big deal.</p>
