Your best option probably is to keep working, and take one class at a time and pay for Ashford out of pocket. It will be a much slower route to your goal than you want to have to take, but you can get there.

You also could look at the distance ed program offered by your own home state public universities. One of them might give you the flexibility you need at a better cost. For rxample, University of MD University College has a whole lot of online programs, and accepts up to 90 semester hours of transfer credit.
