Expectations are the same?

<p>If someone can get into a top tier ivy league college such as harvard or yale, do you guys think that they can get into the other ivy league colleges? or ivy league level colleges including stanford, mit, etc?</p>

<p>Ive just been curious because every school says they want this type of kid or this type of kid but it seems like they are all looking for the same kind of people.</p>

<p>Yeah I agree that the expectations are basically the same. All schools want students with top academics who are also extraordinary in certain fields… or ECs, etc. Obviously some will be much more competitive… such as Harvard in comparison to Georgetown… but when you’re at a certain level of test scores, grades, activities… it can just come up to chance.</p>
