Expelled to Community College to Cornell?

I attended a performing arts academy when I was in high school and was expelled (from the academy not the school system) my junior year. After that I decided to graduate early through an accredited online high school program. Within a month of being expelled I had graduated with a 3.5 gpa and enrolled in community college. Since then I’ve maintained a 4.0 gpa and gotten permission from my dean to take a course load that is double what the average full time student takes. I’m looking to transfer to Cornell CALS for development sociology, and don’t know if I really stand a chance at being accepted? I’m not too worried about my SAT scores because I’m not required to send them in, but I don’t know if I should mention my high school extracurriculars and achievements or focus on what I’m doing currently?

High school extracurriculars:
•Sophomore and junior class president
•Treasurer of International Thespian Society
•Multiple school and community theatre productions

Current extracurriculars:
•Member of Preservation Virginia (had writing published by this organization)
•Volunteer for Chesapeake Bay Foundation
•Volunteer for Virginia Historical Society
•Phi Beta Kappa member
•National Society of Collegiate Scholars member
•Works two jobs
•Member and served in the Virginia State Parks Youth Conservation Corps

**** I also want to note that I’ve completed all of the required courses for this major that Cornell lists

Do you have SATs and other standardized test scores from high school?

I took the SAT once in high school and got a 1760 on the 2400 scale. I was looking into retaking it now because some of the other schools I’m applying to require it. CALS doesn’t require it, so I don’t know if I should apply without it or retake it and send that score in?

Probably don’t retake it, but I don’t know.

A 4.0 at CC isn’t likely to get you into an Ivy with your high school GPA and SAT. Normally, from a CC, I would recommend applying to good state schools in your state. You probably have a shot at UVA. That is about the top level of school I would apply to.
