Can anyone share their experience about financial aid at Cornell? Do they give good packages When they initially send out financial aid or do you usually have to appeal? Also what was your turnaround time if you had to appeal?
Net price calculator was accurate for freshman year but income was also straight forward ( not self employed etc). Minimal changes over soph and junior year packages. Did not need to appeal but felt aid offer was fair ( of course would have liked more ). Financial aid dept was very easy to work with. Appt early for aid for subsequent years. Failed to do so junior year and didn’t find out
