There are some awards I have which I’ve just found out about, so I’ve updated my Common App, but my letters of recommendation won’t reflect these accomplishments, since they’re already been written and uploaded. Do you think this should be explained in the Additional Information section so it doesn’t seem like I’m making them up?
I don’t think you need to. I assume the awards have dates/year’s attached to them. They are very smart at Yale, they know recs are written early in senior year, or even over the summer before. They won’t think you are making anything up.
