explanation needed

Can someone explain why people come on here posting their 4.66 or 3.9 GPAs and then say they can’t break 2000 on the SAT or barely broke it. I’m from a competitive high school and have a 3.5 but got a 2160. Are their scales different or are they under-challenged.

niggas come out hear boastin a 4.7 and then say they got an 1800…

A possibility is grade inflation, and that their school isn’t very competitive.

Not every school is the same. That’s why colleges you at your application in the CONTEXT of where you’re coming from. For them, getting a 1900 may be impressive in comparison to their peers whereas at another school, it’s mediocre.
