Being new to BC and the T - can someone explain how a train becomes an express train? Also if the train is now going to an express stop that is past the stop I need, I can get off the train, but do I have to pay again for the next train that comes along? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Express Trains: Express trains often occur when there are back-to-back-to-back trolleys(3 trolleys in a row) on the same rail. The trolleys run express mainly to space out the trolleys. I only ride the B and the D lines and only have experienced express trains on the B line. They typically run from the BC stop to Washington Street (inbound) and vice versa for the outbound trains.

As for payment, you do not need to pay again for the next train since the operator(s) are informed that there will be people waiting who just got off the train that was in front of it.
