When applying for a scholarship, how can I explain that I babysit and drive my two younger sisters to their activities and lessons so my mom can work, therefore giving me few ECs? I don’t want to be a “sob story” or anything, but I want my sisters to have the chance to learn an instrument, participate in church activities, etc. like I did when I was younger and my mom didn’t work, so I drive so my mom can work.

There is nothing wrong at all with explaining extraneous family situations like this on applications. Colleges and scholarships want to know what you do with your time, and helping your family is certainly extremely valid. As far as it being a “sob story”, don’t present it in that way. Put down “taking care of younger siblings while my mother works” as an EC or in the additional information section, but don’t write it as an excuse.
