A thought about printing on knit (jersey) sheets: I don’t know if it is universally true, but often the printing sort of sits on top of the knit in a way that makes the texture odd. Now, the way I tried to describe that is odd, too! I hope you get my meaning.

The Linens N’ Things flyer in today’s paper has a sale on XLong twin jersey sheets and also Christmas Tree Shops if you have one nearby.

Linens n Things actaully had a large selection of jersey.

Where did you find those? I’ve been looking everywhere for powder Tide, but all I can find is the 2x concentrated liquid Tide.

DD loved these Dropps individual packets that dissolve in the wash.

I like Garnet Hill myself…they have an x-long twin section online, in several different fabrics including jersey:

Oh, patient already mentioned Garnet Hill.

Thanks for all the tips. We’re well aware of all the nuances of jersey sheets (as in the strtched-out shapes and the weird foldings), since D has always had them on her bed. I didn’t think about the possibility of using regular-sized twins on her dorm bed, though - that’s a good idea.

Well, we’ve got one set, and I’m seriously leaning towards the Company Store for a second set. (Loved the ones from Garnet Hill - but H balked at the price!)

scout59 ~ take a look at this [Boscov’s Online - Your Full Service Department Store](http://www.boscovs.com/StoreFrontWeb/ProductSearchResults.bos?storeId=10001&langId=-1&noResultsUrl=StoreDirectoryView&clearClickHist=Y&searchText=jersey+knit+sheets) Nice selection of prints and you can’t beat the price! Unfortunately for me, S didn’t like any of them. I officially give up!

XL twin only 6 inches longer than regular twin…so our experience is regular twin works fine.

Our Jersey knit beach? sheets from BBB got holes in them after 1 year…dissappointing. And these were our home sheets, so no commercial washing machines.

^^I guess son did not wash his BBB beech sheets all that often!

Funny…Don’t think that most boys do laundry as aften as the women and this continues into adulthood!

Just noticed this thread…saw lots of patterned, jersey, extra-long sheets at Home Goods this weekend (spin-off store from Marshall’s on the east coast & (maybe?) elsewhere).
