Extra Pkg B Football Tickets Available

<p>My D got a message from friends on Facebook that extra Pkg. B Football tickets are available for purchase. She just logged on and was able to pick up Pkg. B tickets. She is ecstatic to now have tickets to all home games!</p>

<p>So, if you have package A and you buy package B now, they’ll let you go to all of the home games even though you’re a freshman?</p>

<p>Looks like it; Package A says “Sold Out” while Package B is showing up as available.</p>

<p>Just bought a set of “B” for DS. I am going to call the ticket office first thing tomorrow to make sure there is no issue with having 2 packages (one A, one B), since on the intro page is says one package per student…</p>

<p>Maybe I’m wrong but didn’t we all go through this when the tickets went on sale. The ticket office then called everybody who went ahead and purchased the additional package and told them they (the freshman) could only have one package. There was a thread on this situation. It just seems like the same situation. Yes you can log on and yes you can purchase the second package but the ticket office will call later and ask which one you want to drop. Maybe the situation has changed?</p>

<p>After the first time this happened, you’d think that UA would have fixed this glitch. I understand that a small amount of incoming freshmen/transfer students may not have purchased tickets yet and still want to do so, but if that’s the case I don’t see why UA just can’t have them call the ticket office so that a person can instantly check to see if they have already purchased a ticket package and then sell them package B.</p>

<p>I did speak to the ticket office just now and they said there had been a lot of calls about this. Students are allowed only one set (as mentioned at rolltide. c o m) and as such, the additional set will be refunded. She was unsure as to if the person doing the refunding was going to make calls regarding this, so I sent an email to ticketoffice @ ia. ua. edu indicating which tickets were to be refunded. :)</p>

<p>While this is a pain (the glitch in the system), I would say that if you get on the waiting list early, you will have an excellent chance to get tickets for every game. There will be a variety of reasons why kids cannot attend every home game (my son gave up his tickets last year to Arkansas and UT-Chattanooga) and donate them.</p>

<p>If you could refresh my memory, when do the students put in for the waiting lists?</p>

<p>I called this morning and they said they would refund the 2nd package. I asked very specifically since D would have a cow if she lost package A; they said no, they would refund the 2nd package purchased since freshman can only have 1.</p>
