Extra Yale Recommendation?

Hi everyone!
I’m applying RD, and I’m sending in two teacher rec’s and my counselor’s. But I took a Journalism course at Boston University in summer 2011, and I got a recommendation letter there.
Should I send it that one as well?

Also, my teacher at Boston wrote my recommendation letter a few months after the program just to talk more confidently about my work instead of a year later. Will this matter if it wasn’t at the time of applications? It’s a 2012 letter, but at the beginning of the year.

If you’re sure it adds valuable information to your application, send it. When it is written doesn’t really matter

Have you seen the letter? I’m saying this as a Boston University Alum, so no disrespect – but your Boston University letter of recommendation might be more valuable to BU than to Yale.

I’ve seen it, and that’s a good point. But my teacher talked about how I did in my investigative journalism workshop, and what I wrote about, and how I approached it. It focuses more on the way I approached writing my article and my investigation method than in the university itself… I don’t know if that makes sense.
