I’m a rising junior, hoping to attend University of Miami or FIU with a full scholarship. I worry that I may not have enough extracurricular activities to help me earn a full scholarship.
1-volunteer at a hospital (3 years)
2-board member of an environmental club and a science club
3-ran a toy drive
4-tutored chemistry
5-member if an engineering club.
If anyone could let me know if I am at least on track to fulfilling that requirement of having extra curriculars.
I would do more actual real world experiences and internships in your field of study. Also, participate in competitive clubs for your field of study (ex. Political Science - Model UN). Currently, your ECs look pretty run-of-the-mill, which wouldn’t really be enough to get a full scholarship. Look to get into clubs that show leadership, as well. GL!
