<p>I read that research helps… but how do u get into that. FYI- I live in Los Angeles area… so if u guys have any information about research center that accepts high school students in that area plz post</p>
<p>showing interest in medicine by volunteering at hospitals and stuff like that</p>
<p>Find an area of your interest. Check out the department in that area at the nearest local University. Write/contact Researchers whose area interests you.</p>
<p>When you apply to 10, may be 2 will give you a positive answer. Follow those positive leads and be persistent.</p>
<p>Contact the investigator by phone and email. You will eventually get through.</p>
