<p>Is volunteering at a tutoring program outside of your school and involve in Saturday church events count as extracurricular activities? Some told me it is but others do not agree because it does not involve with my school.</p>

<p>I would say that anything that can develop you as a person, demonstrate your leadership skills, and the ability to be committed to something is an EC. So, yes. But you should be able to present it from a perspective that shows how this activity can be an EC.</p>
