I’m going to be a sophomore next year and I want to add some more interesting extracurriculars in hopes of getting into a more competitive college. This is what I did freshman year:
Cross Country
Indoor Track
Outdoor Track
Interact (volunteering) club
Gay-Straight Alliance
Cello

I know that next year I want to join the math team and debate team. I don’t plan on continuing cello. I am also fairly confident that I can become president of the GSA. My extracurriculars are all fairly average and I was hoping I could get some tips on how to stand out a little more while following what I enjoy? I’m interested in running, math, and volunteering. I’ve been thinking about organizing a 5K. What do you guys think? You can post a link to your thread and I’ll try to return the favor. Thanks.
