<p>If you got accepted to UChicago, what kind of ec’s did you have? I don’t really have anything that great, do you think running a non-profit organization (5 students run it) would help my chances?</p>

<p>I got accepted to UChicago --I was very involved in lots of things from my school newspaper to the soccer team…just be passionate about what you do - whatever it is</p>
<p>I think the general rule of thumb is that it doesn’t matter what you do, just find something you’re passionate about and know you can excel at.</p>
<p>I’m betting Chicago especially would like kind of quirky ecs, things they don’t see on mot apps. There’s also a video about ecs on the UChicago admissions channel on youtube :)</p>
<p>My wife got into U of C with tennis, field hockey and debate club as her main ECs.</p>
