I would definitely submit multimedia for my sports and arts ECs (equestrian, dance, journalism, digital art, theatre, guitar, vocals) but I don’t have any videos, pictures, etc that accurately display my skills right now (except for a few digital art examples) and im in the process of moving so I can’t record anything new.
I haven’t had many competition opportunities so I don’t want a bit of a lack of awards in some ECs without videos displaying talent to impact my application negatively. I think my resume will help this though.
Any tips regarding extracurriculars in applications?
I can’t speak to the other ECs, but (I am a horseperson myself) you definitely do not need video of you riding or showing.

I don’t think Admissions staff want to see multimedia of seven ECs. They want to see at most a few highlights. Not everyone will have every category in an application. If you like your digital art, submit it.

Our placement counselor (junior boarding school) recommended that athletic videos only be submitted to coaches, not admissions.
For older child, we submitted images of a couple of awards and a digital art project that he was particularly proud of.

Thank you! I’ve contacted coaches in a few sports as well as the performing arts directors for all of the schools to ask some questions so I think I should be fine on videos
