Extreme Requirement for Neuroscience major!?

This might be crazy but is it true that in the neuroscience major, students are required to maintain a overall GPA of 3.50!? and 3.50 in neuroscience major.

Lets see if I’ve got this right. This means in order to graduate, students need to have a cumulative GPA of 3.50, and GPA of 3.50 for each neuroscience major?

I read that from here
Source: [Degree Requirements | Department of Neuroscience | University of Pittsburgh](http://www.neuroscience.pitt.edu/programs/undergraduate/degree-requirements.php)

No, that is a requirement ONLY for receiving departmental honors from the Department of Neuroscience.

That has nothing to do with general GPA requirements for graduation.

…I’ve got to learn to read. My bad.
