Taken the SAT I three times, i’ve only gotten minimal score improvements right now am at a 1900 range… i’ve been studying extremely hard more than u can imagine., but unfortunately i usually break down during these tests… I become short of breath, my hearts starts beating quickly, and theres that feeling of failure looming in the depts of my stomach… SAT II was even worse Math 2C- 650, i was eventually breezing thru the problems then got stuck on number 26 or sumthing spent 5 minutes on it, and moved on…proctor annouces 5 mins left and i completely freeze, besides my hand which is shaking uncontrollably…Im taking the ACT this weekend hoping that wont be as nerve wrecking. Jus really concerned that Stanford will look upon me in doubt with low standarized test scores.

I know what you mean, thats why standardized tests are no good.
If othere parts of your app are amazing than I think they might be a little more convinced but it is just really unfortunate that there is no other easy way to measure ability.

when you’re stuck on a problem, try and take a deep breath and look around the room for a couple of seconds. look into the distance, relax your eyes and then get back to the problem. it works wonders. just don’t spend too much time doing it or you’ll end up running out of time. :)

yea thanks… ima use it this week for the ACT.

you are putting too much pressure on yourself. this test is not THAT important. try to go into your next test satisfied with the scores you already have, and take this test with a “you have nothing to lose” mentality. on friday this weekend, i would strongly suggest you not study, and just relax, watch tv, hang with your friends, whatever
