Extremely Challenging book

So i’ve taken the ACT twice and got two 31’s and i know improvement is possible, so i want the most challenging book out there for the ACT…

Any suggestions?

This is not generally the right mentality. Questions that are tougher than those that appear on the real thing don’t usually help you on the real thing.

i have my preferred methods of studying, and if you don’t agree with them that is okay, just answer my question or please do not respond to the thread.

thanks

Being close-minded to advice about staying away from means of preparation that are generally agreed to be ineffective is not an attractive way to entice posters to help you.

I’m not sure that will necessarily improve your score, but the most challenging book is Barron’s 36/ACT.

^ I agree.

For me, ACT For Brainiacs was a tough book.

silverturtle is right, a harder book might not do much good. Try taking a few practice tests and take notice of any patterns in your mistakes- therein lies your problem. Understand and fix your mistakes and your score shall reach higher levels. This method has worked for me so far.

the hard part is the time the questions them selves aren’t really very hard.so practice the timing aspect
