So I have my first interview coming up and I realized that I have an eye contact problem. I understand eye contact is very important so this is making me a little nervous.
So, under normal circumstances, I have good eye contact(talking with teachers or talking with friends). But, during a continued hour long discussion, I cannot hold eye contact for a long period of time. Especially, when I think of answers to qusetions, I tend to either look down at the table or up at the ceiling. Is that extremely bad?
I can hold eye contact for a decent amount of time…jsut not for an entire hour…
any advice/tricks?
i really appreciate it!

You aren’t supposed to keep staring at someone’s eyes. That would be creepy. It’s fine to look away while you’re thinking of an answer. In fact, that’s normal behavior. You just shouldn’t sit there staring at the floor or the ceiling for the entire hour.

…lollllllllllllllllllllllll

lol
thanks for the reply northstarmom
i think i was just getting paranoid, because my parents told me i have really bad eye contact, while others say I have great eye contact.
