Anyone have any experience with this? Did you do it at home or salon? Worth the price? My eyelashes are almost invisible without mascara (well the lower ones are totally invisible) and I spend a ton of time putting on mascara, trying to cover each one, usually making a mess in the process.
I tried tubing mascara, which I love, but I think I am allergic to it.
I used to to do it all the time (you could buy it in Boots in the UK) but here, it seems less kosher. Like the FDA seems to have an opinion. I wouldn’t pay a salon to do it LOL. Amazon has plenty of kits.
My daughter has done it. She went to the woman who waxes our eyebrows. She has very long, thin I eyelashes, but they are very, very blonde. I think it lasted about 3-4 months.
I do! My eyelashes are totally translucent. I do a blue-black it makes a huge difference. I would never do it on my own and risk getting it in my eyes or staining my skin. Ideally I would go every 6-8 weeks. It is about $20.
$20 is a bargain though! Mostly I had been told it was more like $50.
@Sybylla are you sure you mean a straight up eyelash tint? I live in the philly area and that is the going rate. I don’t know any salon that charges $50 just for an eyelash tint. Do you mean an eyebrow tint? Even that is more than I pay for that lol. I go to a best of philly place for my brows and get eyelash tint/eyebrow tint/wax for $72.
My D has done a lash lift and tint - about $85. The lift is basically curling, but it lasts about 4-6 weeks. Just the tint is $40. She loved it. She’s getting it done again before prom, but she doesn’t do it every 4-6 weeks because it’s too much money.
I would be afraid to do it at home.
Thanks for your answers. I live in a small town and don’t know if anyone here does eyelashes. I might check at the beauty supply place and contemplate doing it myself. I’m sure there are videos on youtube. 
I haven’t thought about dyeing eyelashes in a long time. Back in college (40+ years ago), there was a girl in my dorm whose mom was a hairstylist/cosmetologist, etc. This girl said she could dye eyelashes. She used regular hair dye and mixed it with flour to make it thick. I don’t remember how she applied it, but it didn’t work at all. I couldn’t tell any difference. LOL
