New here. Anyhow, the days are winding down to May 1st and I still have no idea where I’m going to college. I was accepted at 7 colleges and waitlisted at one, making a pretty fruitful experience. Luckily, I’ve narrowed it down to three. So I was wondering if any of you have any good wisdom or information about them…

Franklin and Marshall College

BU’s CAS Honors Program

University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Honors College.

I’m going for a double major in some sort of biology/neuroscience and linguistics/language. I am also planning on being pre-med.

F+M isn’t likely to have the faculty quality you’d find at BU, and UMBC won’t have the same level of students. BU looks to me like your best option.
That said, BU is not for everyone. It takes self-motivation to thrive here, as the environment is far from nurturing. The CAS Honors program, with its smaller classes and fantastic students, would give you a home base of sorts, though, and the new initiatives in undergraduate education are quite exciting. This is a good time to come to BU.

BU or Syracuse? SYRACUSE
BU or Maryland? MARYLAND
BU or GW? GW
BU or BC? BC
BU or really crappy community college? REALLY CRAPPY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

at least try and be sneaky about being a ■■■■■, geez.

I’m kind of enjoying it. Once upon a time there was a Mac program called “Talking Moose.” All it did was pop up at random times and say something. That’s our ■■■■■.
