I have one F on my transcript from a Spanish college class I took during my spring semester as a Junior in high school. Do you think this will hurt my chances of getting into a selective university, such as Claremont McKenna?

That will be a problem. See your guidance counselor about a plan to mitigate that. You will probsbly have to retake.
