<p>Is U of Michigan generous with strong international applicants? Collegeboard says that the average FA for internationals is only ~$6600.</p>
<p>UMich is actually pretty stingy with FA for international students. When I emailed them last year, they flat out told me that I was expected to pay for the whole cost as I was an international student.</p>
<p>It is still possible to receive scholarships from individual schools, but don’t go in expecting to get any FA.</p>
<p>OK. Then I won’t apply to UMich.</p>
