fa-la-la-lena read this!

I don’t know if you got this email, but I think it’s a great opportunity, especially since you’ve helped a lot on the MSU thread:). Obviously you would help prospective students in your major, not prevets.
Shoot the HC an email if you want to help.

"Would you be available to email a few Honors College/Preveterinary prospective students through the Honors Email Program (HELP)?

HELP is a way for each and every Honors College student to become and stay involved in the Honors College recruiting efforts. Whether you are a freshman or a senior, live on campus or off, HELP is for you! You can be a part of this program even if you are very busy as you can just spend a little time emailing when it is convenient for you. Through HELP, Honors College students will contact high school seniors who have been invited to the Honors College for fall 2010. You will be matched up with 20 or fewer prospective students based on area of study/major. HELP volunteers will start an email dialogue with these students. You will serve as the student contact person for information about MSU, the Honors College, your major, etc. You can answer questions you know and/or point them in the right direction when you don’t know the answer. We hope you will start a dialogue where they email you with questions, but some of the students will just enjoy hearing from you. For those students you don’t start “conversations” with, you can email them every six weeks or so with a story about research, study abroad, your favorite class/professor/place on campus, ADS etc. I will provide a template message you can use as a basis for your introduction to the students. I will also send reminders when it is time for a new message."

hmm thanks for letting me know! I’ll definitely consider it
