I searched Hampshire College’s site for their net price calculator and it returned, “Did you mean net prize calculated?” Well, I guess for some it just might feel that way! (Unfortunately our prize is not enough!)

Yes. I think it is a typo, but it certainly is an ironic one! People filling out the NPC to find out the “prize” they won at the end. (Or none, as the case may be!)
