<p>So apparently CNR students have faculty advisers to help pick classes and for a professional connection for letters of rec and I was wondering what is the process in order to have a faculty adviser. There doesn’t seem to be much info on the subject. Do I just find a prof and ask him or her to be my adviser?</p>
<p>Talk to your academic advisor (the one who gives you authorization for telebears each semester) in Mulford. Susan Kishi could help if you are in Environmental Sciences. She could also direct you.</p>
<p>You’re actually appointed one by CNR. Your major advisor (Jamelia Carson for ESPM) will be able to tell you who your faculty advisor is, although it doesn’t really matter who signs your Tele-Bears form so if you already know a professor in CNR you can go to him/her instead.</p>
