Faculty of Medicine for Undergrads?

<p>Does anyone know anything about this? It says it is for undergrads, but I didn’t have a choice to select faculty of medicine in my application. I applied to faculty of science (undeclared major) and faculty of engineering.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply tomofboston. Also, Is that same as the ‘graduate’ medical schools here in the U.S (after the MCAT exams)? Or do you have to apply to graduate school after first professional degrees. In the latter case, you’d have a 12 year college education, which is quite ridiculous</p>

<p>The MD is a 'first professional degree" in both the US and Canada after which you enter a residency program. In both countries graduate medical education would be a master’s or Ph.D. degree in a medical specialty: anatomy, physiology etc.</p>
