Hi, I just started filling out my FAFSA. What happens if you don’t finish after 45 days? It says that your information will be deleted, but does that mean I can’t fill out another one or I can?

Are you a senior in high school? The FAFSA for 2016-2017 won’t be available until January 1, 2016. If you are filling out the 2015, it doesn’t carry-over.
You started a thread in September 2014 when you were a junior. So now, October 2015, you would be a senior.
The above poster is correct. The FAFSA you want to complete is the 2016-2017 FAFSA…because that is the school year you will become a college freshman, right? That FAFSA becomes available on January 1, 2016.
Don’t worry about anything you have done on a 2015-2016 FAFSA. Just forget about it…and patiently wait u til the 2016-2017 FAFSA is available.
