<p>You do the first six (they should be the ones with the earliest deadlines and/or the ones in which you have the most interest or need the most money). Once the colleges have received those, you go back to the FAFSA website (I very much recommend that you do the FAFSA online as it is MUCH easier to change than with a paper filing), and amend the FAFSA by deleting schools and adding the ones that you need to add. DO NOT make changes until you are sure the schools have your final information.</p>

<p>You can call the colleges. That’s what we did just to be sure. I will say that this is one reason we are encouraging DD to apply to less than 6 schools.</p>
