<p>How much does it cost to have the FAFSA filled out over the phone? I know the online app is free but I would rather do it the other way depending on how much it costs.</p>
<p>Why would you PAY to have the FAFSA completed? If you have all the information, and you are going to GIVE it to someone over the phone, it’s probably EASIER (and more secure) to use the FAFSA website and enter that info yourself for free.</p>
<p>If you file the FAFSA yourself online, you can amend when needed ONLINE. How does this “phone service” say they will submit your forms. DO NOT give anyone your PIN numbers…which is what they would need to submit themselves online. </p>
<p>Personally I think this is risky business and you should NOT consider it at all.</p>
<p>Okay, thanks. I’m going to fill it out online then it just seemed like there were advantages like convenience to having it done over the phone, but they don’t really outweigh the risk I suppose.</p>
<p>diver, I can’t think of ONE advantage to having a middle man do this on the phone at a fee. Please tell me what you think the advantages are…</p>
