By mistake i filled the 2023-24 fafsa form and gave consent to fsa to transfer tax return and fsa did transfer my tax documents from IRS website. I however deleted the 23-24 form when I realized it was the wrong form. When i went to fill 24-25 fafsa form it did not ask me for consent to transfer the tax information from IRS DRT. Are we still ok.
Yes, I believe once you fill out the form and it’s confirmed you’re ok. (I did same thing)

For the 2024-25, they don’t ask you specifically about DRT. There is a question very early on in the form that is basically giving consent to proceed with the whole form/process, and your consent for the IRS info is part of that. So you probably gave the consent without realizing it (there are videos provided along the way and info boxes you can click that explain this, but I think many people go right past all of that and then don’t realize they already gave the consent at that stage).

Yes. In the past, the data transfer was very obvious. For 24-25, it happens behind the scenes.
