<p>My son is currently attending UCSD and will finish his undergraduate degree in December of this year. He has been accepted to the masters program at UCSD/Scripps which will start in January. He will need financial aid to begin his masters degree study. Financial aid department said to update his current FAFSA to independent/masters degree. How does he change his status on his current FAFSA from dependant to independant mid-year and delete our financial information? It doesn’t seem to allow you to delete parental financial info. Any help would be appreciated!</p>
