<p>i was wondering if you find out that you got accepted to a school through fafsa too. or is fafsa used only when u apply to a school and the university’s financial aid office does all the financial stuff? is fafsa used throughout the whole year for every semester?</p>
<p>No FAFSA has nothing to do with acceptances. The school uses the information generated by FAFSA to help calculate a financial aid package for you but they (the school) will inform you of the financial aid package not FAFSA. </p>
<p>The FAFSA you submit for the 2008-2009 school year is used for financial aid for the fall/spring/summer semesters. You will have to do a new one next year for the 2009-2010 schoolyear (starting fall 2009 through summer 2010).</p>
